Backyard

I have been longing for a backyard lately. I love the idea of letting the girls run around and planting a garden. I decided that it probably was a better idea to make the backyard that I have now more inviting than to complain.



The other night we slept up at Jesse's parents house in Langhorne. We opened the window to get some fresh air and I realized how noisy it was. The crickets were chirping, the pond was bubbling, and the wind was rustling the trees. I loved these sounds so much but had a terrible time falling asleep. It was so loud. I was thinking about how I always thought the city was loud at night, but when I am laying in bed it is silent. There is the occasional crazy person singing down the street, car zooming by with the stereo on full blast, or gun shot but really....when it is quiet, it's really quiet.
