Yesterday as I was driving the girls to their very last dance class and on the way I had to run an errand for a friend. I pulled up to the house I was going to and got out of the car and closed the door. Well, thanks to Dodge, when you start driving the car the doors automatically lock AND the doors do not unlock when you open them SO when I closed the door I locked all 3 of my kids inside with the car running. I freaked out- poor
Sue had to witness my craziness of crying and pleading with the girls to try to unbuckle their seat belts (which they have no idea how to do.) After calling Jesse 100 times from Sue's phone I gave up and called 911. Soon a huge fire truck rolled up with about 7 fire fighters and opened the door. Of course as soon as they pulled up I burst into tears and couldn't pull myself together until they left.
With all that said, I got to dance class on time but the girls were a little too shaken to dance. I don't blame them. I don't think they were scared to be locked in the car, I think they were upset that they saw me upset. Lesson learned: keep my cool.
Dance class was a disaster until they had about 15 min left. At least they let me snap a couple pictures of them with their classmates.

I was pretty shook the whole day and then I got an amazing email from my friend
Matt's mom, Deb. What an encouraging woman. Thanks to her encouragement I was able to get through the day. Thank you Deb!!!
