If I knew how I was going to react to watching Food Inc. I probably would not have watched it. Ha. I really got motivated to make as many things at home as I possibly could.
yea, food inc really made us make a change in our diet. i would love to get into making stuff more....how do you find the time? or does it not really take as long as i think it probably would? oh, and how did the cheese turn out? enough with the questions!!!
One gripe about Pollan: many of our elders help invent the food that's killing us a generation later, which is to say, they'd recognize it, but maybe not as poison.
Food for thought. Ahem.
Of course, your efforts to make food at home never cease to amaze me. I'm positively stupefied by such undertakings. Bravo!
I am a full time mom of three small children, Madeline (Maruke) 4yrs, Jane 3yrs, and Penelope 1yr old. We all live in North Philadelphia and make the most of living in a very urban environment. It is a crazy house at times, but a house full of creativity and bustling activity.
