The Germinator

Nothing says "spring" like planting seeds. A couple of weeks ago I planted some seeds for our "pot" garden in the backyard. (no, not that kind of pot. ha!) This year I am really going to try to plant as many veggies as I can without having any green space in our yard.
Anyone have any tips on planting veggies in window boxes? I was thinking about putting sugar snap peas in them and letting them vine all over the windows. If anyone has any suggestions I am needing some advice. Rubbermaid carrot bins?

bushel baskets of potatoes are fun. so are big pots we call pizza pots --- tomatoes or eggplant in the middle, then surround it with plantings of herbs or cherry tomatoes or spinach. super pretty & very practical.
