Earlier this week we went to the zoo. It was the first time I went to the zoo and was truly, without a doubt in awe of monkeys.
There was a 7 month old little orangutan (who kind of looked like Penny, whispy hair and all) who kept climbing up the wall while the Mama orangutan was trying to take a nap. As soon as the baby got to a certain height on the wall, the Mama orangutan reluctantly got up, climbed the wall and got her baby. She would struggle a bit to keep the baby with her under the blanket but the little orangutan was able to wiggle it's way from the Mama's sleepy grip and climb right back up.
Who would have thought!
This first video is a little long- but you get the idea. The second video is of the Mama getting her baby.
Ok Moms...is it just me, or is this every morning with a crawling baby? Ha!
